Digital interface board/De0 Nano, what can I do without that?

Hello,
I start a project and i’m wondering if I order Digital interface board/De0 Nano or not.
Maybe you could help me to decide me…
I wanna transmit position and other data from sensors between 2 embedded Myriad RF and maybe secure this datas with an algorithm.
Should I use a Raspberry or smthg like or the FPGA on Myriad will be enough?
Do you advise me to take Digital interface board/De0 Nano or myriad rf only will be enough?
txh for your help !

Hi Clement,

The Myriad-RF 1 module does not have an FPGA and these are typically located on the host system to which it connects. As far as I am aware the DE0-Nano interface board is not currently in production, although you could obviously make your own.

If you would like an ARM system + LMS6002D transceiver, one option would be the Novena plus Novena-RF module.

Andrew

Thank you for your very fast answer !
Ok, ok , I would have prefer to have the FPGA embedded…
I think I’m gonna choose an other SDR Rx/Tx for this project,
However, if I use Novena I’ll keep community in touch of my progress.
Have a nice day,
Clement

You mean you want FPGA-only? I was confused by the mention of Raspberry Pi…

If you want FPGA-only then the STREAM board should do what you need. This will be on sale within the next few weeks. If you want ARM+FPGA, the Novena has this.

Andrew
