LimeQuickTest fails with new LimeSDR mini 2

Hi there,

I am an absolute newbie with this, but I hope you can still help me.
Just received my first ever LimeSDR in the Mail, which is the new v2. Spent the rest of the day trying to get it to work, but something seems off.

When I try to run LimeQuickTest, this ist the output:

I just installed LimeSuite using Mac Ports as described here: Installing Lime Suite on macOS - Myriad-RF Wiki

So there is a lot of errors and I have no idea where to start debugging.
Is this normal and if not, do you have any suggestions where to start fixing this?

Okay, for all fellow noobies out there: you need to install the latest LimeSuite from Gihub: GitHub - myriadrf/LimeSuite: Driver and GUI for LMS7002M-based SDR platforms
For me, the one distributed via package managers did not yet work with the v2.

Also, make sure you have the correct firmware in case using the firmware update feature. If you don’t you might flash a v1.x firmware to a v2 device.
The .bit file from here seems to be the latest one: index - powered by h5ai v0.29.1 (https://larsjung.de/h5ai/)

Could you please let my know what version of Lime Suite you are on.

I’ve flashed latest 2.2 firmware and compile LimeSuite from source with no luck.

compiled as “22.09.0-ge829d3ed”

does this seem right ?

You need to clone the Lime Suite repo and build from master (don’t check out any tagged releases!):

As mentioned above, make sure you’re using the right version :slight_smile: Yours does not look like the latest commit from the git repo to me.

Just rebuilt it on another computer from the git repo, and the version for me reads as:
