Dear All
I hope this message finds you well.
I am reaching out to report a critical issue I am experiencing with my recently purchased LimeSDR XTRX. Despite multiple attempts on various systems and interfaces, the device is not being recognized or communicating in any way.
Issue Summary:
- Device: LimeSDR XTRX
- LED Status: Both LEDs light up upon power, indicating some basic operation. just keep blinking
- System Connection Attempts:
- PCIe Interface: Tried connecting directly to the motherboard via a compatible PCIe slot — no recognition, no
dmesg
output on Linux, and no detection on Windows Device Manager. - USB Interface: Attempted connection using a known-good micro USB cable on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 22.04 — again, no logs, no recognition.
- Alternative Systems: Tested on multiple computers with various chipsets and OS versions, but results remain the same.
- PCIe Interface: Tried connecting directly to the motherboard via a compatible PCIe slot — no recognition, no
- Software Tools: Attempted to use
LimeUtil
,dmesg
, and other diagnostic tools under Ubuntu — all show no sign of hardware presence. - Power Supply: Device appears to receive power (LEDs are ON), but no enumeration or communication occurs.
Actions Taken:
- Use it and tested PCIe adapter.
- Verified all cables and slots with other hardware.
- connect also side micro USB but without any communication , but LED keep blinking
Request:
I would appreciate it if you could assist in diagnosing the issue or advise on the next steps, including:
- Any special jumpers, drivers, or firmware required for initial detection?
- Known hardware compatibility notes?
- RMA process or hardware replacement if the board is defective?
I am attaching photos of the current hardware setup and can provide any additional logs, serial numbers, or video evidence upon request.
Looking forward to your guidance to resolve this issue promptly.
