It is a liitle hard to figure out what is the f_ratio for the beginners. I would appreciate it if you can help me.

f_ratio is the amount of decimation that you are going to do the the signal. After the decimation the sample rate will be 1e6 samples per second. You normally mix the original signal with another sine wave to select what part of the 5e6 signal that you want. By default you get the range 2.5e6 - 0.5e6 to 2.5e6+0.5e6
