New SDR: LimeSDR Micro

We’ve been working on a new entry in the LimeSDR family for some time and the pre-launch page for this is now finally up:

In short, a low cost M.2 2280 and mPCIe form factor SDR with integrated baseband processing courtesy of NXP LA9310. Which can be used to accelerate tasks similar to how the FPGA could with previous LimeSDR boards, but of course programmed in software (C and assembler) instead of a hardware programming language.

More details to come when the campaign goes live!

Do you have an expected launch date for the campaign?

Aiming for some time in February.

M2 or mPCIe are great to avoid the bottleneck of USB, too bad it’s still limited to 3.8GHz and doesn’t go up to 6GHz…
