We have just announced a new highly flexible, unified gateware platform for LimeSDR. Based on LiteX plus a new set of reusable blocks for SDR, LimeDFB, this drives IP/gateware reuse across the LimeSDR product family, while facilitating the integration of custom FPGA functionality. Not only that, but users can easily swap out soft-core CPUs — two open source RISC-V designs are supported at present — and with LimeSDR Mini 2.0 it’s even possible to synthesise designs with a fully open source FPGA toolchain!
