I am trying to setup a LimeSDR Mini 2.4 on my Win11 machine. I have no idea what I am doing and am completely confused by all the varying information out there. I have tried the “read me”, wikis, etc and apparently am not smart enough at this point to make it happen. I have no programming background (but very solid RF). With all the information out there (that assumes you know what you are doing) I have hit a brick wall of frustration, and here we are. Is there anyone out there that is willing to be my mentor and guide me through this process? I really want to learn, but am apparently missing a vast majority of the necessary skills / understanding to get over the finish line. I can’t walk away from the hardware investment I’ve made thus far. Any help you folks can muster is greatly appreciated. -old RF guy trying to play with new school hardware-
Apologies for the delay in someone getting back to you.
Broadly speaking support is better on Linux than Windows. There is a Windows “Pothos SDR” installer, but this is maintained by third party and has not been updated in some time.
My recommendation would be to start with a well known, well supported Windows application like SDR Console:

This shouldn’t require you to install SDR drivers, since LimeSDR support is bundled as part of the software install. Which can often be the case with Windows applications.
