Perhaps this should someday become my first code contribution. I would like to be able to monitor the chip (and board) temperature during high bandwidth intensive operation of the XTRX using the gr-limesuiteng plugin by (my first guess) sending the contents of the appropriate register through a message port. A follow up thought would be to have a general feature added to send contents of an arbitrary register through a message port although I haven’t thought deeply about the utility of such a feature. My concern regarding temperature was launched by a lingering doubt about the effectiveness of cooling the LMS7002M with the XTRX mounted on the FEA board.
