Getting up and running with LimeSDR XTRX

XTRX not found

Dear All, I come with good news, for the ones, who want to use the XTRX on the RPi5, and share with you this post as sort of Manual and Lessons Learnt, of how I was able to get my unit(s) to work. Note that I use the pineboards (former pineberrypi) HatMPCIe (my version is 2024/V1), as miniPCIe interface. However, from looking at other posts, the serial number on my LimeSDR XTRX appears to be a very large number. (18446744073709551615 = 0xffffffffffffffff)
It seems like there is something wrong with the shipment, but for now I will continue working on my goal of getting GNU Radio and srsLTE/Open5GS working…
