Anyone has had success using WDSP software (pihpsdr, LinHPSDR and such) with LimeSDR?

By sucess I mean to run it and actually have it work for things like moving across the band , transmit and so on. I don’t mean on HF. That is a different level.

I’ve been working with piHPSDR by DL1YCF. I modified the software so it sets the gain for Lime’s RX correctly with the slider and this makes the RX work very nicely as long as you don’t try stepping through frequencies. If you use the CTUN feature it is fine (it just emulates tuning). But if you really tune two big “birdies” appear. If you move 500hz left you’ll have “birdies” and -500 and +500Hz your previous frequency. then you move to 1kHz and they move with you. If you move back they dissapear. It is as if the RX needed calibration at every miniscule Freq move (this is what sdrangel seems to do to avoid same problem, but the software itself although much more powerfull is horribly clunky and crashes if you look at it worng).

Interistingly if you move like this in frequency and you press MOX to TX and go back to RX the problem is resolved! Until you move the frequency again… I can see no calibration step in there so I don’t understand what is going on.

Another thing has to do with TX. It seems the TX is on at all times. Evidenced by there being a LOT more noise if the TX gain is raised. Makes NO sense to me… But I found no information about it in WDSP dev guide and before I look at the code I was hoping someone might have done so before?
