I’m working on a project involving hardware-in-the-loop RF testing on real hardware, using SoapySDR as the abstraction layer, and specifically targeting the LimeSDR Mini 2.0 (LMS7002M / Lattice ECP5). I’m looking for a UK-based contractor to help with hands-on hardware bring-up and integration work.
Roughly what’s involved: taking software that’s already been through initial hardware bring-up, and getting it behaving correctly against real, physically-generated RF test signals, closing the gaps that only show up once real hardware and real signal conditions are in the loop (driver quirks, timing, RF front-end impairments), across three separate two-week windows spread over a roughly six-month programme, plus support around a final demonstration. Roughly 25 days in total across the engagement. In-person attendance is needed for some sessions (UK-based test facilities), so this isn’t fully remote. Travel costs to these sessions are covered separately from the day rate.
Day rate negotiable for the right person, with short remote check-ins (e.g. meetings with the client) billed separately rather than as a full day. Happy to share more detail under NDA.
