Restarting the Mini SDR v2

I setup the mini sdr v2 with all the parameters and start the rx and tx streams. I then want to change the frequency. What is the procedure for setting a new frequency ?

  1. Just set the frequency and continue
  2. Set the frequency and recalibrate
  3. Turn off the tx and rx streams, set the frequency, recalibrate and start the streams again?

Safest option would be 3, to stop stream, change LO, calibrate, start stream. That way you’ll be certain which samples belong to which frequencies, and also you’ll avoid the garbage samples that would be produced while LO changes.
