LimeSDR Mini

I see the LimeSDR Mini is being advertised - will this have filters that restrict coverage as we had with the original LimeSDR?

Shame the case isn’t metal :frowning: .

Reminds me a bit on PLUTO side
Hope we can read the real RX/TX coverage spec. soon…
The metal case can be resolved, no big deal.

You mean matching networks? Yes, it has to have them.

OK, I hope they don’t affect the response  .

Checked the morning news feeds when I woke up and seen the LimeSDR mini post, jumped out of bed grab the credit card and pledged for one before breakfast.

Just as well I did as the 500 Early Bird’s are sold out already!

I would like to see a USB-C version though.

Is there a reason the board uses lms7002 and not lms6002?

Is there a reason the board uses lms7002 and not lms6002?

The LMS6002M goes from 300 MHz to 3.8 GHz, so the lower limit would be 300 MHz, which would have a smaller market. And 28 MHz RF bandwidth.

I don’t see any U.FL or SMA ports for reference clock in LimeSDR mini - I suppose there is no chance that it will be added to make synchronizing multiple devices together possible?

There are plans to add a U.FL on the underside, but don’t take this as an official line until you hear to the contrary

Nice

I see, thanks for info. It would be great to have it in a final version

Hey,

Do you think they will add another lot of 500 limesdr mini for 99$ soonly ?

This device is exactly what i need!

Yes,

10 seconds after you buy one for $139 :sunglasses:

With 43 days remaining, 73% funded, 107+ ordered at $139, the odds are extremely low. Now if it was 3 days remaining and 73% funded I’d say the odds would be extremely high, but that is not the case.

Yep, all goes like expected…

@andrewback can you please kindly ask them to publish " low and high bands " full RF network data?
