What is preventing the LimeSDR Mini from going down to 100 khz as the main LimeSDR does?
Can the balun or capacitors be tweaked to allow HF band?
I don’t care if I completely ruin the higher frequencies. I never plan on using the device above 500 MHz.

Yes, provided that you are comfortable performing the SMT rework and with the caveat that this would invalidate any warranty. You can find the schematics etc. on GitHub:

I’m not sure we’ve ever documented such rework. You’d need to look at the schematics and identify suitable alternative transformers etc. based on your particular requirements.
