For the LimeSDR-mini, is it possible to have tx/rx sample rates differ?

Hi- This is probably a really dumb question and can be answered by someone immediately. It appears from the LMS7002M block diagram, that there are separate tx and tx sample rates and oversampling, and these can be set in the LimeSuiteNG api. However when I try to set them differently I get unexpected results - my quick explanation for what I am seeing is that the tx data are transferred via usb at whatever the rx sampling rate is set to. Is that close to a correct interpretation? And, is there any way to set them differently?

In short, no.
the LMS7002M has a shared clock generator for rx and tx, so the sampling rates are coupled, only the oversampling can be different.
FPGA gateware was designed expecting the Rx/Tx sampling rates to be the same, so that samples timestamping could be synchronized.
