Capturing Inductive Telemetry 175khz frq with limeSDR usb

Hi Team,

I am attempting to capture a 175 kHz signal using the LimeSDR USB. I connected a coil loop antenna (the same one used in our patient connector device for transmitting and receiving at 175 kHz).

Although the LimeSDR theoretically supports this frequency range, I am unable to observe the 175 kHz spectrum in Universal Radio Hacker. However, I can successfully observe 433 MHz and other FM signals without any issues.

From my research, it appears that the LimeSDR requires specific configuration or tuning to properly capture signals in the kHz range.

Could someone please guide me on the necessary tuning or configuration steps to receive 175 kHz signals?

Thanks.

Hi, basically, to receive 175 kHz you have to:
Set Rx LO to 30MHz.
Set sampling rate 60MHz.
That will allow you to get the signal.

Then it can be upconverted:
Either by hardware, set RxTSP NCO to upconvert 29825000Hz
Or by software.

Thanks for response Ricards

I am new to RF and I am aware of using URH(universal radio hacker) tool but LimeSuite is totally new to me.
Does the configuration you suggested will tune the device and later I can use it on URH or how?

it would be great if you share configuration file (.ini)

I’m afraid we cannot provide advice on configuration specifics for every application. Would suggest asking in the URH community.
