Using the LimeSDR Mini 2.0 for through-wall gesture detection

I used the LimeSDR mini 2.0 as a radar device for detecting hand points and gestures through occlusions! I made a video about it that I thought the community here might find interesting.

Thanks for sharing, it is pretty cool research. I absolutely love how you refer to 3.4GHz as low frequency!

Not sure if it’s sarcasm or not but yes maybe I should be more careful with my terminology. Obviously it’s not low frequency in the traditional scale, 3.4GHz would be considered super-high frequency. It is ‘low-frequency’ relative to what most gesture recognition radars are using (mmWave).

Thanks for the feedback & glad you enjoyed

It was not sarcastic at all, but complete opposite of that. I genuinely enjoyed the presentation. It is this exact difference between the fields which you’ve described I find fascinating and somehow I love it. Perhaps because in such moments you see different perspectives and learn from them, and even get motivated or inspired.
Sorry if you sensed something negative in my terse reply, that was absolutely not the intent!

I see! Well thank you very much for the kind words Sergey, to have inspired others is one of the highest compliments I can recieve. Thanks for all your contributions to Limesuite that made this project possible.
