Has anyone tried chrome paint or something similar to reduce RF getting into the case? Looking to Plate the inside with metal or even the outside too

M0GLO, if I recall correctly, he old electrodag coatings were only good up to the low MHz. Not sure about this stuff.

Good point, don’t know myself.
Copper tape works if soldered up along the join lines.Might melt the housing a bit while soldering though.

Best is either get a metal case or live with it unsheilded.

i have some aluminum tape that i use on satellite dishes … might try that
