Will i have to use DVB decoder&receiver?

Hi. I am using LimeSDRmini and SDRangel program now.
Will i want to receive DVB-S audio and serial data for satellite, Will i have to use DVB decoder&receiver equipment?
Can’t i receive the data just using LimeSDRmini and SDRangel DATV demodulator?
