What is the TXNCO (Tx & Rx VFO) signal type

What is the TXNCO (Tx & Rx VFO) signal type … square wave or sine …
I see listings for phase noise … but not this so far.

Since its programmable … i assume its square … but i like to make sure.

Not sure which one you are referring to (analog or digital). In any case both are sine.

Ok, in the LMS7002M-Data-Sheet-v2.8.0.pdf … page 3, Figure 2 depict TXPLL signal going to TXMIX.

Im trying to get more information about TXMIX and TXPLL/RXPLL … In regards to what type of signal is sent to TXMIX from TXPLL,

Does Figure4 depict a TXPLL block ? If so … the output from the divider of 0º & 90º are sinewave or square? or?

Does Figure4 depict a TXPLL block ?

Yes.

If so … the output from the divider of 0º & 90º are sinewave or square? or?

Now it is clear. It is square at the output after divider.

And is still square when it gets to the Rf mixers ? ie also square when it leaves the buffers or is it amplifiers … its not noted in Figure4

I also wonder about a frequency sweep for response of the high band input … before it inters the lime7002
