Tx Frequency Stability

What is the Tx Frequency stability (%) of LimeSDR ?

Do you mean PPM drift per deg change?

It’s supposed to be 1ppm initial and 4ppm stable. I don’t really understand what’s the difference between initial and stable so maybe someone else could clarify that. This is something that I’ve been wanting to ask for some time now. I think this is what you meant by ‘frequency stability’ although to be correct it’s ‘frequency error stability’, maybe you meant something else.

@FFY00

Initial = 1st start up
Stable =when everything got warm up and operate at chip temp.

Oh, ok. That makes more sense. Thanks!

Thanks alot for the information. So in percentage it will be 0.0004 ?

Thanks.

Yes, I believe that would be the best way to describe Tx frequency stability for limeSDR.

Thanks.

Yes, it would be 4e4. Not as much as the USRPs and the BladeRF wich are 1e4 but still good, still enough for most of the cellular and GPS applications.
