Does the LimeSDR come from the factory with the most recent firmware/gateware?

Does re-programming the firmware/gateware reset to factory settings? Is there a .ini file that will do the same without having to re-program with firmware/gateware?

Id assume that the update still sets in the same default settings … so i have no idea.

Pretty sure all the settings are made via software and not stored in the board itself.

First 500 board batch is not, while we discovered one issue in the firmware after boards were sent. Gateware in the batch is not the recent as well, but there is not a big difference between the latest one.

All the settings are stored in ini file you upload. Hence there is no impact on the RF when you re-programm firmware/gateware.

I think this satisfies me for now. But maybe I am not asking the right question. Steep part of the learning curve for me right now so perhaps later I will find things to be clearer to me.
