Im trying to digitize a signal frequency of 951 MHZ but the resolution in time is poor.

Could you be more specific, please.
If you expect to digitize sine wave (for instance) of 951MHz, then there is no chance. You have to downconvert it first to much lower frequency first and then digitize. But this is just my speculation, you have to define your task better.
