Hi,
I am new to the SDR & RF world, so apologies if question’s too broad.
I am trying to get DVBS/S2 RF output from TS stream for testing purposes. I understand this is possible with LimeSDR Mini V2.0. I am not able to find a proper guide on this but I understand that this should be supported fully with Linux, but my question is it possible with MacOS or Windows?
Any pointers will help.
Apologies if this is not the correct place for this question, let me know the correct place.
Thanks!
Hi, welcome,
LimeSDR mini v2 and it’s LimeSuite software is supported on Linux, Windows, and MacOS, so it should be possible to achieve your goal on any of these operating systems.
Operating system only dictates what kind of software packages you’ll have available to process the data , like GNU Radio or something else.
All said Linux is probably going to be the easiest route and there are various DVB toolkits based on GNU Radio, e.g.:

When it comes to questions related to these the best place to ask is probably going to be in the GNU Radio community.
There is also a turnkey platform called Portsdown, which may be of interest:
