In lime suite GUI trying to set SXR to 96.9MHz (i assume in the frequency section and hitting calculate and/or tune) fails, saying
[00:37:59] ERROR: SetFrequencySXR(96.9 MHz) - cannot deliver frequency
It says this for any frequency i try. FFT display does not work, i hit start and nothing happens, 0B/s on RX and TX. I was able to get it to calculate and tune a couple of times, but FFT still didn’t work, and hitting GUI-> chip fails with “busy bit is still set” or any number of other errors.
UPDATE: i was able to get FFT to display for 147.930MHZ, but i had to disconnect, connect, hit reset, go to calibration, calibrate, go to sxr, 147.930, calculate, tune, gui–>chip. That is literally the first time GUI–> chip worked and i don’t know why, or what i did. It seems arbitrary.
Bundled with the software came pothos flow, i open limesdr mini block and spectrograph, i just get a small line on the FFT. if i load simple_fm_demod with soapy SDR source set to limesdr mini, i get

Bundled also is cubic SDR, cannot FM demod because it’s just an M shape on the display, no matter what frequency i pick.
Bundled also is GQRX SDR, LimeSDR Mini shows up, used both the default LimeSDR Mini device and the Other: “Driver=lime,soapy=0” and i get a thin yellow line in dead center of waterfall, no matter what frequency. If i key up on 147.930 after setting GQRX to 147.930 with an HT, nothing happens. it’s just static.
basically all software is acting like there’s nothing at all connected to the RX port, or there’s an issue somewhere in the card somewhere. I am willing to try any sort of troubleshooting, as i have been on this for about 6 hours straight now trying to get it to work as new information comes up here and elsewhere on the internet.
