LimeSDR Mini 2.0 – Programming Failed, LED Blinking, Not Recognized

Hello,

I have a LimeSDR Mini 2.0 device that is recognized by Windows as “LimeSDR Mini (Interface 0)” in Device Manager.

I successfully installed the WinUSB driver using Zadig, and the LimeUtil and LimeSuiteGUI tools are installed correctly.

However, when I run:
cmd
LimeUtil --find
it returns no devices found.
I also attempted to flash the FPGA using LimeSuiteGUI → Modules → Programming, with the correct .bit file (LimeSDR-Mini_HW_2.0_r2.2.bit), but I receive a “Programming failed” error every time.
The LED on the board is constantly blinking and never stabilizes.
I believe the device may have a hardware issue (FPGA or flash failure).
Could you please assist or advise on how to proceed?

The LimeSDR Mini 2.0 is visible in Device Manager, and I have installed the WinUSB driver using Zadig. However, the device does not appear in LimeSuiteGUI, and LimeUtil --find returns no devices. The LED keeps blinking and the FPGA cannot be programmed — I get a “Programming failed” error every time.

Why? The LimeSDR Mini 2.0 is suppose to use FTDI USB drivers, which depending on Windows version are already preinstalled.

Blinking LED means the FPGA gateware is fine and working. You cannot program FPGA, if the software can’t connect to the USB device.

The fact that the device can be correctly seen in Device Manager, means it is working properly. LimeSuite does not see it because wrong USB driver is assigned to it.

Thanks for your answer, yes I tried different drivers but which version is correct? Can you help me? Can you share the link? The device I am using is Lime Mini 2.0.

As the website says: “FT602 use built in OS drivers (no need to install any drivers manually).”
