I am looking at using the DDR2 memory on the LimeSDR board in my FPGA application.
It seems that to use this IP in a non evaluation mode I will need to purchase an Altera Base IP licence.
I am currently using the Free version of Quartus II. Could someone from Lime confirm this please.

DDR2 memory controller IP core is free, no need for a license.
Sorry for not replying earlier but I didn’t seem to get an email notification.
The Altera IP catalogue seems to infer that the free edition only comes
with an evaluation licence. No doubt it will all become clear when I get some
Real hardware to play with.
