Lime XTRX Gateware update

When I ran limeGUI, I got the message:
WARNING: Current XTRX gateware does not support 64bit DMA addressing. RF data streaming might not work. Please update gateware.

Which version of gateware should I use?

Thanks in advance.

I updated to GW 1.17. The error message is gone.

Sorry for invading the thread (tell me if it’s better to start a new one)

I was having the same warning, and updated the gateware from Master branch to “combined” gateware through LimeGUI.
XTRX is not recognized by the LimeSuiteNG now (latest build)
Re-flashed with the JTAG programmer, tried “user” gateware and other branches with no success.
(I’m flashing with PCIe power, Vivaldo Lab 2024, everything seems smooth)
There are 5 branches in GW repo and I couldn’t find clear instructions on what to do in my case,

Could anyone suggest a solution? I’m using PCIe connection on x86 Ubuntu 22.04, board v 1.2 from Mouser, missing bridge soldered.

UPD: I was having problems with PCIe drivers or modprobe,
the “user” image from the Master branch let me talk to the device via LimeGUI and acquire test samples

Hi @IhorS,

There is detailed documentation about board programming available here.

Also quick board programming instructions are available in README file in LimeSDR-XTRX GW repo:

  • Purpose of each programming file are described here.

  • Instructions on choosing correct programming file when programming trough LimeSuite are here

  • Repository branches which should be used by users are described also here
