Lime Suite v17.01.1 tag and binaries

I have tagged v17.01.1 on the limesuite repo. This tag is mostly fixes on top of the previous release including the HF tuning issue, and updates for the firmware and fpga images. Some binaries have been updated to match, but anyone building from source and following the master branch already has these fixes.

yakkety note: There may have been some issues on yakkety with a crash in gr-osmosdr which was affecting gqrx. @csete tried to address this temporarily by disabling uhd support which was causing the segfault. Please report if something is still segfaulting: Packages for Ubuntu 16.10

Thanks! -josh

Josh,

I rebuilt my Linux box to 16.10 (from 15.04) and installed GQRX and all the support PPAs, too. I have a segmentation fault with my current 16.10 install of GQRX, but my LimeSuite is working perfect on Yakkety-Yak.

Just so you know - and that rebuild was just yesterday…

Finally refound this post. I remember wondering, at the time, if Gqrx could be installed without Gnuradio. I stored that thought away and now I’m coming back to it.

Does Gqrx require Gnuradio with that windows installer? I’m not asking specifically about windows. I’m more interested to know if you figured out some way to make Gqrx work without Gnuradio??

“Gqrx is an open source software defined radio receiver (SDR) powered by the GNU Radio and the Qt graphical toolkit” - http://gqrx.dk/

I would say that it needs gnuradio.
