We have bought a LimeSDR recently and we would like to inquire about it’s capability to support dual channel (multi-ARFCN) using OsmoTRX/BTS software. We have a working Osmocom setup on our lab and we have verified dual channel capability in some of the SDRs that we also have. However, for the LimeSDR, we have noticed that the OsmoTRX code only allow us to enable single channel (single ARFCN). May we know if this is a limitation on the SDR hardware?
I can’t imagine it will be a hardware limitation and rather instead a question of software support. A good place to enquire as to the possibility of dual-TRX support would be on the Osmocom mailing list.
