Firmware rollback after successful update

Hi,

I have the following firmware problem with my LimeSDR.

  • I did try to upgrade the firmware up to 1.4 using LimeSuiteGUI (linux) but the operation failed (read failed on local disk image)
  • Then my LimeSDR appeared as a “Cybpress WestBridge” device
  • So I did use the Cypress USB Control Center to reflash the “LimeSDR-USB_fx3_fw” firmware
  • Then my LimeSDR appeared again as a “LimeSDR Usb” device
  • Then I did try again to upgrade to 1.4 and the operation did complete successfully

But… the device now appears again as a “Cybpress WestBridge” device.

I did try several times, and the very same thing happens.

Is jumper J17 fitted? And if so, try removing and replacing it, to make sure it is firmly seated.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply. I guess it was probably a jumper issue, the upgrade went fine and LimeSDR seems to be now in a stable state.

Thanks again!
