I see the board layout for the Parallella RF.
This would be useful for wideband RF experiments.
However have there been any plans for the necessary firmware
to stream data from the RF card to the Zync on the Parallella?
Quite a few expressed an interest in this design, but unfortunately not sufficient to press the button on manufacturing. So, given that we don’t even have any prototype modules as of now, there wouldn’t be much point in investing in writing the RTL and a Linux kernel module etc. Although there’s probably a fair bit of stuff out there that could be reused.
We’d still love to see this board become a reality, and of course anyone else is free to pick up the design and run with it. So if you know anyone with a pick and place machine, or that fancies doing a Kickstarter…
