I started programming as a high school student in 1973 on a Xerox Sigma 7. I started using Linux in 1993. I am a long-time advocate of FLOSS, particularly in educational settings (schools, libraries, community centers, etc.) I keep pretending that I'm going to get around to learning analog electronics some day. Somewhere in my sordid past, I managed to get a B.S. in Audio Tech, but I've forgotten most of it and I don't know [audio] jack about SDR. I currently volunteer as a board member for HacDC, and professionally code mostly in Python / Qt at the moment.
