Yamamoto, J. Sindi, has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Brasilia-UnB, Master´s and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Campinas-UNICAMP. He was a researcher at CPqD (1984-2005), professor at UNICAMP (1980-1984), visitant researcher at CSELT, Italy (1986) and the National University of Yokohama, Japan (1996). In 2003 he founded the Innovatech Telecom, where currently he works on R&D activities in 4G/5G systems for rural area. He is also a professor in the graduate course in embedded systems of the Salesian University of Campinas (UNISAL). In addition to small cells and embedded systems, his research interested area includes digital signal processing, SDR (Software Defined Radio), SDN (Software Defined Network) and mobile systems 4G/5G.
