Sorry for being quiet but still waiting for the gr-osmosdr update.
I think I will just create a new gqrx ppa and call that package gqrx-sdr, which is also the name of the official debian and ubuntu package. People can then switch to the new packages by first disabling the old PPA and removing the old packages and then using the new PPAs.
