# LimeSDR with OAI \[Runtime error: Error: signal 11\]

Hi All,

I have cloned and built latest OAI:

Building is done using following command:  
./build\_oai -I -w LMSSDR --eNB --UE --nrUE --gNB

If I probe LimeSDR I can see the device:

But if I try to run OAI i got an runtime error:

Any experience with: Error: signal 11?

Has anyone managed to build and run OAI with LimeSDR USB on Ubuntu 18?  
If yes please send me the link where to download stabile OAI source and instruction how to configure it and run?

I suspect you’d be better asking this in the OAI community. I’m not aware of anyone running this recently with LimeSDR hardware. We have in the past, but it was some time ago now and I couldn’t say what state support is in.

If you have the option, I might suggest using srsRAN instead.

I also have some issue with srsRUN. I opened topic regarding this issue:

I successfully started HSS, MME and SPGW but I have troubles with ENB.

I think we miss user manual or some other document how to setup LimeSDR with srsRAN or OAI. This would popularize LimeSDR over other SDR hardware platforms. It should be simple to setup with some open source environment like srsRAN or OAI.

I am thinking of writting book about LimeSDR or just user manual in order to save other people pain and time spend setting it up.

Could you run succesfully the OAI code or srsRAN with LimeSDR? Please if you can help me with a issue or a manual, because the documentation is old or there are no recent news or projects related to it.
