I’m not aware of anyone else having used LimeSDR hardware with *BSD and on doing a quick search, it looks as though FreeBSD has a re-implementation of libusb.
So it could be that there are some API and/or behaviour differences. Unless someone else comments here with suggestions, may be worth asking in the FreeBSD community, as it’s possible that there are certain considerations when building apps that use libusb.
Sure, it’s unlikely to be SoapySDR specific and instead to be an issue in Lime Suite<>FreeBSD libusb.
