Thanks, I see where the confusion is coming from. This page was written some time ago and wasn’t verified/approved — I’ll remove it. For LimeSDR Mini related info and links, see:
https://wiki.myriadrf.org/LimeSDR-Mini
LimeSDR Mini doesn’t have DDR memory and so the waveform player in Lime Suite cannot be used (this loads a waveform into the board DDR memory and then configures it to play this).
But even with boards that do have DDR RAM, LimeQuickTest should be used, as it’s more comprehensive in coverage and less error prone (the old manual test that involved using the waveform player required the user to interpret the results).
We’re planning to move official documentation from the wiki to a much better structured static website.
Have you updated your Lime Suite to a source build from git master? As @whitequark noted this includes fixes for problems such as this.
EDIT: also LimeQuickTest pass/fail is set for operating performance at cold. There shouldn’t be too much performance degradation as it warms up, but there will be some and it could be enough to cause a test to fail where there is no hardware issue. In addition it’s important to make sure that there is nothing connected to the RF ports while the test is being run.
