# LimeSDR-mini FPGA programming

Hello,

I am new to the LimeSDR world and I need your help.

My goal is to program the FPGA on my LimeSDR mini board.  
To do that, I wanted to program it using Lime Suite GUI to upload a .sof file in the FPGA RAM, but here is my problem :

This is what I have on Lime Suite GUI before connecting my board

And this is after connecting (Options → ConnectionSettings → Connect)

I can’t write on the FPGA RAM anymore. I don’t want to write on the FPGA Flash because I don’t want to change the default program.

Another question. How can I reset the FPGA to its previous gateware if I have to write on the FPGA Flash.
