I get one or two lines that act like I expect them to and then the line with the 3 >>> gives me an error.

larry@larry-desk:~$ #set the UBUNTU_STORE_ID in /etc/environment
larry@larry-desk:~$ >>> sudo edit /etc/environment
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `>’

I don’t get it.

The >>> are just prefixes indicating commands; use your preferred editor to edit /etc/environment and add the line UBUNTU_STORE_ID=LimeNET in there.

Thanks all for the effort. My edit attempt didn’t work, file was in use or something like that.
