Hi All,
Anyone has idea about the certification of the CS-lime-01 . We require FCC and UL certification for this.

I had to lookup what a CS-lime-01 was, and it is more commonly known as a LimeSDR-USB.

For FCC certification, my basic understanding is that would be up to you, if you were planning on integrating any generic SDR board into a commercial product and increasing the TX power above laboratory test equipment level of ~10dBm. You would also need to add external filtering on the output and limit the frequency tuning range to the appropriate bands only.

And hence are “Exempted devices” under FCC 15.103 subsection C in CFR 47 (Code of Federal Regulations). “( c ) A digital device used exclusively as industrial, commercial, or medical test equipment.” A tiny bit of knowledge is all that is required to increase the signal levels beyond the legal limits. 1 external gain (LNA/Broadband RF amplifier/MMIC) 2 .an exter…

At the moment, as far as I’m aware, this option is not available, but software is being written right now to tune the configurable parameters within the board to transmit (and receive) at low frequencies. What does 10dBm mean ? 10dBm is the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power whe…

Thankyou @mzs. We have developed the NBIOT test tool with very limited power. Either 0 or 4 dBm. Do we still need to put filters at output side? Any particular suggestion for that? Also would this board UL comply? i noticed 94V-0 is printed on the board so can we get a certificate regarding this?
