hope I am writing to the right forum…
I am running windows 7, 64bit on a high end dell machine.
in windows device manager, I see my LIMESDR, I tried to download the driver per the instruction, from cypress, and do an update. Am I missing something?, After installing the huge cypress file, it is not clear what to do!.
when I try to update the driver, windows 7 keep telling me- my driver is the proper one, and I do see the board.
the FPGA1 LED blinks RED-Green, the board seems to run Hot to the touch? is that normal?
and the second LED to the right of the FPGA1 LED is totally off I see 2 labels next to it, FPGA2 and LEDS1)
I can NOT communicate with the board.

I have a copy of the board that Fox_Mulder showed in the link above on Feb 17!!! and appear to have
a similar problem to his, if I can not communicate with the board, how can I upgrade the firmware?
is it possible that I have a faulty board?
if I need to exchange it, please let me know.
none of the command line {commands} I issue can see the board, of course the LMSUITE can not see it either.
Zadig 's pulldown can see the board!
